I was born in Cienfuegos, Cuba, and later immigrated to Miami at a young age. This experience has enabled me to become proficient in both English and Spanish, allowing me to connect with a broader group of people. I have accumulated over 600 hours of customer service experience, primarily serving marginalized communities throughout my life.

I earned my associate's degree from Miami-Dade College and am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree at Florida International University with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy. My past work experiences in customer service have laid the groundwork for me to be a qualified and empathetic member of the Ocean Psychology team.

I am originally from Miami, Florida. I acquired my RN and MBA right here in the 305. Throughout my careeer I have specialized in providing care to those that have had difficulty accessing effective and empathetic healthcare such as the elderly, the HIV+ population, the LGBTQIA+, and other cultural minorities who have struggled accessing mental health services. I have had the privilege of treating clientele from diverse backgrounds in both English and Spanish, and have experience working in a variety of settings such as hospitals, client homes, outpatient clinics, home health agencies, etc.
Currently, as a Billing Specialist I am happy to assist clients in insurance verification and/or explanation of benefits.
